The first modern-day mutual fund, the Massachusetts Investors Trust, was created in the US in 1924. That’s a hell of a long time ago, but for many in asset management the thinking of “if it ain’t broke then don’t fix it” mindset is still alive and well.
But, are they right when it comes to ETFs and should more mutual fund managers be taking it more seriously?
